WIS 29 concrete repairs, lane closures scheduled to begin today

Motorists can expect to encounter daytime, single lane closures on westbound and eastbound WIS 29 between Exit 162 (72nd Avenue) in Wausau to 128th Avenue near Marathon City beginning Monday, January 7.

The lane closures are necessary for crews to make repairs to the concrete roadway. Work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day Friday, January 18.

Motorists are reminded to slow down in the work zone and be alert for slow moving vehicles.
