Meeting scheduled for work on WIS 67 in Plymouth

Work scheduled for 2014

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region in Green Bay is announcing a public meeting has been scheduled for a construction project on portions of WIS 67 just south of and within the city of Plymouth, Sheboygan County. The meeting will be held Wednesday, January 16 at the Plymouth Fire Station, 111 East Main St. from 5 to 7 p.m. A short presentation is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. The project runs from approximately County PP to Riverbend Drive and from the Mullet River crossing near Mill Street to Suhrke Road.

The project is scheduled to begin in 2014, resurfacing WIS 67 from County PP to Riverbend Drive and reconstructing the roadway from the Mullet River to Suhrke Road. The reconstruction portion includes replacement of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water utilities. Minor right of way acquisition is anticipated.

Access to all residences and businesses will be maintained throughout the project. WIS 67 traffic will also be maintained during the resurfacing between County PP and Riverbend Drive. Traffic will be detoured during the reconstruction of WIS 67 between the Mullet River and Suhrke Road.

WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the proposed project and address any questions or concerns. Local officials, property owners and other interested parties are encouraged to attend, ask questions and provide comments and information about the project.
