WIS 47 in Menominee County reopened

Highway was closed earlier between Neopit and the Langlade County line

Crews reopened WIS 47 in Menominee County at approximately noon January 29.

The highway was closed for approximately three hours earlier in the day when icy conditions made the highway impassable, and after a county highway truck left the road.

As the latest winter storm moves through North Central Wisconsin, motorists are advised to continue checking Wisconsin 511 online for updates and information on state highway conditions before traveling.
