US 51 lane closure scheduled in Marathon County next week

Crews repairing guardrail in Rib Mountain

Motorists can expect to encounter a daytime, single lane closure on northbound US 51 between Fox Glove Road and Exit 187 (WIS 29 east) in Rib Mountain beginning Monday, February 4. The lane closure is necessary for crews to repair guardrail.

Motorists are reminded to slow down in the work zone and be alert for slow moving vehicles.

Work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day Friday, February 8. The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions.
