WIS 29 single lane closures scheduled tomorrow in Marathon County

February 12, 2013

Crews working on pavement marking in work zone

Motorists may encounter single lane closures and some delays on WIS 29 between WIS 107 (Marathon City) and Marathon County O (just west of Wausau) tomorrow (February 13). The lane closures are necessary for crews to refresh the temporary pavement marking in the WIS 29 work zone.

Motorists are reminded to drive with caution in the work zone and be alert for slow moving vehicles. Work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day Wednesday, February 13. The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions.

Work on WIS 29 at this location began in August 2012. Improvements include pavement replacement, installation of safety barrier median and construction of a new interchange with County O. More information is available on the project Web site.
