6th Avenue bridge work to be discussed at March 5 information meeting

February 12, 2013

Planned work on the 6th Avenue bridge spanning Interstate 90/94 in Juneau County will be discussed at a public information meeting on Tuesday, March 5. The meeting will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. in the town of Orange Hall, N8242 6th Avenue, New Lisbon.

The bridge is located approximately 3.2 miles southeast of Camp Douglas and 2.8 miles northwest of New Lisbon. Proposed structure improvements include a new concrete deck overlay. WisDOT is proposing closing 6th Avenue during construction, currently scheduled for 2015.

The March 5 meeting will be conducted in an open house format with a variety of exhibits and maps available for review. A representative from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and Jewell Associates Engineers, Inc. will be on hand to answer questions throughout the evening.

Persons who are unable to attend on March 5 can contribute comments about the project by contacting Fred Gruber at Jewell Associates Engineers, Inc., 560 Sunrise Drive, Spring Green, WI. 53588; (608) 588-7484; fred.gruber@jewellassoc.com.
