A public hearing has been scheduled for US 151 in Fond du Lac

Hearing is for WisDOT's US 151 corridor preservation plan

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region is announcing a public hearing for the US 151 Corridor Preservation Plan (Fond du Lac bypass) in Fond du Lac County. The hearing has been scheduled for Monday, March 11 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the UW-Fond du Lac LGI Room, 400 University Drive, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A presentation has been scheduled for 7 p.m.

This hearing is being held to designate a segment of US 151 from County D to WIS 23 as a freeway under Wisconsin Statute 84.295(5); preserve right of way under Wisconsin State Statute 84.295(10); and to consider the environmental impacts of the associated improvements that are proposed to US 151 between County D and County WH in Fond du Lac County.

The university is wheelchair accessible. Citizens who are deaf or hard of hearing and require an interpreter may request one by contacting the project manager Rob Wagner at least three working days prior to the meeting.
