Public meeting scheduled for WIS 49 (West Main Street) project Thursday, March 21 in Waupun

Public is invited to attend, provide comment
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will hold a public information meeting to discuss preliminary design for the reconstruction of WIS 49 between State Street and County Park Road in Waupun. The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 21 at the Waupun Public Library, 123 S. Forest Street. A short presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The public is encouraged to attend, provide input and ask questions concerning the 1.1 mile project along West Main Street and includes the reconstruction of the WIS 49/68 intersection. The project is currently scheduled for 2016 construction. Maps showing the proposed improvement alternatives will be on display. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
