Public meeting for WIS 19 Token Creek bridges project, Dane County

Construction scheduled to begin in July

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will hold a public information meeting to preview the replacement of Highway 19 bridges located between US 51 and County C in Dane County. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 13 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Windsor Elementary School, 4352 Windsor Road. A presentation will be held at 6 p.m.

Work is scheduled to begin in July to replace two bridges over the Token Creek watershed. Highway 19 will be closed for a period of 30-45 days during construction. Access for local residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained. The designated detour route will use US 151 and I-39/90/94. The project will be completed in September.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning this project.
