Governor Walker approves nearly $465,000 for project at Dodge County Airport

Governor Scott Walker approved today a $464,709 project to rebuild pavements at the Dodge County Airport near Juneau.

Stacey Miller, airport engineering specialist with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), said the project includes the reconstruction of the airport’s west apron, associated taxi-lanes and hangar access road.

Funding Breakdown

  • State = $15,784
  • Dodge County = $15,785
  • Federal Aviation Administration = $433,140

The project is scheduled to be completed by October 2013.

Dodge County Airport has two paved runways. The primary runway is 5,060 feet, while the secondary runway is 4,285 feet.
