Governor Walker approves $150,000 project at Outagamie County Regional Airport

Governor Scott Walker today announced a $150,000 design project to expand the general aviation ramp at the Outagamie County Regional Airport in Appleton.
Andrew Trimble, airport development engineer with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), said the expansion will provide additional tie-down parking for aircraft landing at the airport.
Design work is expected to be completed in the spring, with construction slated to begin at that time.
Funding Breakdown
- State = $120,000
- Outagamie County = $30,000
Outagamie County Regional Airport has two paved runways. It is served by four commercial airlines.
