Three nighttime WIS 29 freeway closures scheduled next week in Marathon County

Motorists will be detoured via WIS 107, Marathon County N and US 51

Crews working on the WIS 29 reconstruction project between WIS 107 and Marathon County O are planning three nighttime closures of the highway on March 18, 19 and 20. The closures will occur from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. The schedule is dependent on favorable weather conditions and construction status.

The closures are necessary for the construction of the new County O interchange over WIS 29.

During the closures, traffic on WIS 29 will be detoured via WIS 107, County N and US 51. To avoid delays, motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow more time for travel.

Motorists can also expect weekday single lane closures on WIS 29. For additional information about the WIS 29 reconstruction, please visit the project web site.
