WIS 29 nighttime closures scheduled to begin tonight

Unfavorable weather conditions prevented crews from closing, detouring highway earlier this week

Crews plan to close WIS 29 (between WIS 107 and Marathon County O) on March 20 and 21 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. On March 22, the highway will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The schedule is dependent on favorable weather conditions and construction status.

The closures are necessary for the construction of the new County O interchange over WIS 29.

During the closures, traffic on WIS 29 will be detoured via WIS 107, County N and US 51. To avoid delays, motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow more time for travel.
