WIS 23 work in Iowa County rescheduled for April 8

March 25, 2013

Detour routes in place April 8 to May 22

Work on WIS 23 in Iowa County will begin April 8, one week later than initially scheduled due to weather. The six-mile project will replace the highway surface between County ZZ and Lower Wyoming Road.

The highway will be closed between the WIS 130 intersection and County C from April 8 to May 22. Access to County T will remain open. Passenger vehicles will be detoured using County C and WIS 130. Semi truck traffic will be detoured using US 18, WIS 80 and US 14.

After May 22, the highway will reopen to all vehicles under flagged construction.

The project is expected to be completed late June.
