Road closure for WIS 171 work in Richland County

Signed detour in place April 3 through May 24

WIS 171 will be closed starting April 3 to May 24 between County UU and County E, near the Village of Boaz in Richland County. No through traffic allowed during the closure. A signed detour will utilize US 14 and US 61. The closure is estimated to be completed June 5.

Work will include bridge construction in the Boaz village limits and culvert work on WIS 171 east of County UU and west of County E. Motorists will be able to use the existing highway in these work zones.

Motorists can use the state’s 511 Traveler Information System online or by dialing 511 on their phone for the most current information on lane closures, incidents, and road conditions.
