Oconto hearing for US 41 designation postponed due to weather

Hearing will be rescheduled; Second hearing in Peshtigo is still planned

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region in Green Bay is announcing the first hearing for the freeway/expressway designations of US 41 from the US 41/141 split in Oconto County to County T in Marinette County has been postponed due to weather.  That hearing was planned for tomorrow, Thursday, April 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at the Oconto City Hall, 1210 Main St., Oconto and will be rescheduled for a later date. Adverse winter weather forecast for the Oconto area compelled WisDOT to make this decision.

The second hearing is still scheduled for Tuesday, April 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Henry Drees Community Center, Room A, 600 Pine Street, Peshtigo. A brief presentation will be made at 5:15 pm.
