Beltline delays expected Friday through Sunday during Midwest Horse Fair

Commuters encouraged to use alternate routes on Friday

The Madison Beltline (US 12/18) will experience heavy traffic volumes this weekend (April 19 to 21) in conjunction with the annual Midwest Horse Fair at the Alliant Energy Center.

Traffic backups onto the Beltline in the vicinity of the Park Street, Rimrock Road and John Nolen Drive are likely throughout the weekend.

Beltline commuters are encouraged to avoid the area and use alternate routes on Friday.

Motorists should drive at appropriate speeds and anticipate delays.
