WIS 13 resurfacing improvements scheduled in Adams County

The 15.5 mile resurfacing project of WIS 13 between Gillette Drive and Adams County E (Wisconsin Dells to Adams) is scheduled to begin Monday, April 22. The schedule is dependent on favorable weather conditions.

D.L. Gasser Construction of Baraboo is the prime contractor for the $2.9 million project. Crews will mill the existing pavement and place new asphalt on the roadway. Improvements also include the replacement of culvert pipes, new beam guard, permanent signing and pavement marking.

During construction, WIS 13 will remain open to traffic. Motorists can expect to encounter daytime single lane closures and flagging operations.

Construction is currently scheduled for completion on June 15, 2013.

The project will be paid for with a combination of federal and state transportation funds.
