WIS 73 improvements scheduled in Waushara County

Improvements to 6.6 miles of WIS 73 between Third Court (Plainfield) and Waushara County F are currently scheduled to begin as early as May 8.

American Asphalt is the prime contractor for the $722,000 project. Crews will resurface the highway with new asphalt. Improvements also include some guardrail replacement, updated pavement markings, and new roadway signs.

WIS 73 will remain open to traffic during construction. Motorists can expect to encounter daytime flagging operations.

Construction is currently scheduled for completion June 2013.

One hundred percent of the project will be paid for with state transportation funds.
