Public meeting for WIS 26, WIS 60 construction, Dodge County

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting to preview construction work planned for 2013 on Highway 26 and Highway 60 in Dodge County. The meeting is scheduled from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Monday, May 13 at the Watertown City Hall, 106 Jones Street.
Construction is starting on the expansion of Highway 26 to four lanes between County J and County Q. The highway will remain open to traffic utilizing the existing roadways, temporary roadways and the new roadway. Construction is scheduled for completion in 2014.
Highway 60 will be reconstructed and realigned to the east of Highway 26. The existing highway will remain open to traffic during construction.
The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning this project. Maps showing the construction staging will be on display. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
