Work starting Monday, March 24
As part of his efforts to create jobs and make sure Wisconsin is open for business, Governor Scott Walker recently approved $4 million to improve WIS 32 (S. Wisconsin Street, E. Pulaski Street and N. St. Augustine Street) in the village of Pulaski. Construction is scheduled to begin on Monday, March 24, weather permitting.
WisDOT will be reconstructing 1.7 miles of WIS 32 from Green Bay Street to S. Chase Road. Specific site work includes: pavement removal, excavation, base aggregate, storm sewer, asphalt pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk, multiuse path, signing, a box culvert extension and a box culvert replacement. The work is expected to be completed by the end of October.
The project will be detoured and closed to through traffic. WIS 32 will be detoured from County B to County C to County S for the duration of the project. Local and emergency access to adjacent properties will be maintained during construction.
Peters Concrete, Green Bay, is the prime contractor.
Motorists are advised to use caution and remain alert when driving through this or any work zone.
