Public meeting scheduled to discuss US 61 pavement replacement, city of Lancaster

Meeting to provide update on project; public invited to attend, provide comments

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Southwest Region office in La Crosse is announcing a public involvement meeting to discuss the US 61 pavement replacement project in the city of Lancaster from Cherry Street to City Limits Road. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. located at the Lancaster City Hall Building, 206 South Madison Street, Lancaster, WI 53813. A brief presentation regarding the proposed project will be provided at 5:30 p.m.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions regarding this project. The city hall is wheelchair accessible. Maps showing the proposed improvement alternatives will be on display. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
