Construction to start May 19 on Highway 60 bridge, Prairie du Sac

Bridge will be closed; traffic detoured to US 12
Work on the Highway 60 bridge in Prairie du Sac is scheduled to begin May 19, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Southwest Region. The bridge will be closed for the duration of the project, which is expected to be completed in the fall.
The project will replace the bridge deck and approaches, and repaint the girders.
Traffic will be detoured to US 12. Safety improvements to Highway 188 will begin May 12 and be completed prior to the bridge closure.
The $3.7 million project is scheduled for completion by November.
