Public involvement meeting for US 10 improvements in Pierce County
August 5, 2014
Meeting will provide project information and encourage community feedback.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northwest Region will hold a public involvement meeting to discuss possible roadway improvements on US 10 from North Junction US 63 to Beulah Street, including the Piety Street intersection. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Ellsworth Community High School cafeteria, 323 West Hillcrest Street, Ellsworth.
Plans are currently being developed to improve safety at the US 10/Piety Street intersection and upgrade the deteriorating pavement on three miles of US 10 between Beulah Street and North Junction US 63. The proposed improvements include the addition of a right turn lane at Piety Street and replacing the deteriorating pavement on US 10. Final project plans are expected to be completed by September 2015.
The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning the project. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.
