Closures

Rd. construction.

Reardon Rd.

  • Beginning May 13, 2013, Reardon Rd. will be closed at US 51.
  • Reardon Rd. will be rerouted to Windsor Rd. and the new Pederson Crossing Blvd. (constructed to gravel).
  • Message boards are located to the north and south of Reardon Rd. along US 51 to alert traffic to this closure.

Vinburn Rd.

  • Beginning May 20, 2013, Vinburn Rd. will be closed at US 51 to the east for a three week period.
  • Vinburn Rd. will be closed from US 51 to the east approximately 600 ft.
  • Vinburn Rd. will still have access to US 51 from the west.
  • Vinburn Rd. east will not have a posted detour. Travelers will need to find a way around.
  • Windsor Rd. will be open during the Vinburn Rd. closure.
  • Message boards will be installed along US 51 7 days prior to alert traffic to this closure.

Windsor Rd.

  • The Windsor Rd. closure can begin anytime after June 7, 2013 and will run through Sept. 27, 2013.
  • Traffic will be re-routed around the closure via a temporary Gray Rd./North Towne Rd. intersection, except for a three week period beginning the end of July.
  • School bus access will be provided through the project area for the fall semester beginning Sept. 3, 2013.
  • Windsor Rd. will be closed to the west and east of US 51, but the closure will end before the next available road to both the west and east.
  • Windsor Rd. will have a posted detour, directing travelers along Lake Rd./County CV, Vinburn Rd. and Portage Rd.
  • Message boards will be installed along US 51 seven days prior to alert traffic to this closure.

Overview

  • Construction activities can change at any time. Please check back periodically for updates and further information.
  • View the Maps page for detour routes and maps depicting traffic flow, access and work zones for each stage.

Access

  • Reardon Rd. will be provided access at all times.
  • Windsor Rd. will be detoured during the end of stage 1 and continuing into the beginning of stage 2.
  • School access
    • Windsor Rd. will not be closed until after the end of the school year, June 7, 2013.
    • School buses will be provided access through the project area beginning at the start of the fall semester, approximately Sept. 3, 2013.
