Project location
WIS 96, Fox River Bridge and approaches, County U to Shanty Rd. in village of Wrightstown, and Old 57 Rd. to Breckenridge Falls Rd., in town of Wrightstown and town of Greenleaf in Brown County.
Project overview
- Construct a new Fox River bridge approximately 100 feet south of the existing bridge.
- Construct approaches and remove the existing Fox River bridge.
- Bridge approaches will include a roundabout
proposed at each end of the bridge.
- Roundabout on west side of the Fox River will be located at the intersection of County DD (Broadway St.) and WIS 96 (Main St.).
- Roundabout on east side of the Fox River will be located approximately 100 feet south of the intersection of WIS 96 (High St.) and Turner St./Fair St.
- Reconstruct WIS 96 from new proposed roundabout located
approximately 100 feet south of the intersection of WIS 96 (High St.)
and Turner St./Fair St. to Shanty Rd. in the village of Wrightstown.
- Work includes new pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk, and storm sewer.
- Reconstruct WIS 96 from Old 57 to Breckenridge Falls Rd. in the
town of Wrightstown and town of Greenleaf.
- Work includes new pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk, and storm sewer.
Status/phase
Design work with construction scheduled for spring 2014 and scheduled to be completed fall 2016.
