WIS 23 Corridor Preservation Study - History

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) has started a project that will preserve the right-of-way needed to keep drivers safe and WIS 23 functional long into the future.

As the communities along WIS 23 continue to grow and develop, WisDOT anticipates increased traffic along with increased demand for access to businesses and residences along WIS 23 to also increase.

It is important to preserve the right of way to avoid costly future acquisitions as the development continues in the corridor.
