US 12 (Water St.), I-94 to WIS 54 eastbound (near Roosevelt Rd.), and on WIS 54 (Main St.), 11th St. to US 12, in Black River Falls, in Jackson County.
Overview

WisDOT will be making several improvements on US 12 and WIS 54 in the city of Black River Falls in 2013. The project includes:
- Resurfacing existing concrete pavement on US 12 and WIS 54 and overlaying with new asphalt.
- Converting a portion of WIS 54, from 11th St. to 5th St., to three lanes with a two-way left turn lane as the middle lane.
- Bridge deck overlay on the Black River Bridge.

- Construction to begin spring/early summer
- Completed end of summer
Traffic impacts/Detours
- Traffic will be maintained to allow one lane in each
direction, except a short-term detour on WIS 54 westbound from US
12 to 8th St.
- That detour, while not scheduled yet, will last about three weeks with traffic detoured along US 12 to County A to 8th St.
- Traffic may encounter brief periods of single lane closures with flagging crews to allow crews to work in tight intersection areas.
- Traffic updates will be posted on this page throughout the project.
