US 2/US 53 Interchange to County D, east of Superior, in Douglas County.

We are currently reconstructing approximately five miles of US 2 between the US 53/US 2 interchange to the intersection of US 2/County D in Poplar.

A new roadway configuration and eliminate the "S" curve at Wentworth. These major improvements will improve motorist safety by shifting US 2 to the north side of the existing highway between County U and Twenty Two Road. The roadway will then cross to the south side for about one mile and continue to the east on the existing alignment.
