Location
US 63, just north of Baldwin, at the intersection of US 12 west, and continuing northbound approximately 16 miles, in St. Croix County.
Overview
- Replace existing asphalt pavement
- Add turn lanes at County E/US 63 intersection
- Add 1.3-mile northbound passing lane, beginning north of 130th Ave. and terminating south of County G
- Add turn lanes at County G/US 63 intersection
- Add 1.9-mile southbound passing lane, beginning south of County
SS and terminating north of 160th Ave.
- Close intersection on US 63 at 215th St. A cul-de-sac will be constructed on 215th St.
- Construct left turn lane for US 63 northbound traffic at US 63 north/WIS 64 east intersection
- Upgrade guardrail termini, rehabilitate drainage structures, and replace signs
- Construction of a roundabout at the intersection of US 63/WIS 46/WIS 64 intersection, 11 miles north of the village of Baldwin

- May - Construction of south leg (US 63) of roundabout
- June, July, August - Construction of west (WIS 64), north (WIS 46), and east (US 63/64) intersection
- Sept.-Oct. - Final curb and gutter, and temporary bypass removal
Traffic impacts/Detours
- Intermittent lane closures start week of April 29, 2013 and end October 2013.
- Project update for the week of May 13, 2013:
Crews continue the construction of the turn lane at the intersection of WIS 64 and US 63
Constructing temporary roadways at WIS 46 and US 63.
Tearing up the current US 63 from WIS 46 east to US 63 north will start. Motorists will be directed around with flagging crews
Paving of the section of project from the four corners to the east is scheduled for the week of the May 20.
