Funding

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) administered the distribution of discretionary grants to states for Airport Improvement Program (AIP) projects with funds provided through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The Recovery Act provided for more than $1 billion in discretionary funding nationwide.
