WIS 32, 1,000 ft. south of 5 Mile Rd. - WIS 31 (3,500 feet north of 6 Mile Rd.), within village of Caledonia, in Racine County.

Project overview

Project involves two miles of roadway and intersection improvements on WIS 32, 800 feet on WIS 31, and 1,000 feet of 6 Mile Road.

Project is currently being re-evaluated because traffic volumes on WIS 32 have not increased as quickly as originally forecasted.

WIS 32 is a National Highway System route that processes local and regional traffic between Racine and Milwaukee Counties. It is primarily a weekday commuting route.

Project cost estimated at $ 3 million.

Status/phase

Design work with construction scheduled for 2018.
