Study location

WIS 60, US 45 to 11th Ave., through villages of Jackson and Grafton, towns of Cedarburg and Jackson, city of Cedarburg, in Ozaukee and Washington counties.

Study overview

Corridor Study, 12 miles of WIS 60, to analyze the existing and projected conditions on WIS 60 through 2040.

The study will evaluate alternatives to accommodate anticipated changes in traffic volumes and regional development.

The study team, with input from local officials, environmental specialists, regional transportation professionals, the local community, and other specialized representatives will develop and refine alternatives for addressing safety and operational concerns along the corridor.

The final outcome of the study will be an approved environmental document outlining the preferred alternative and the impacts to the environment and the surrounding communities.

Corridor Study results will be utilized on future projects along the corridor.

Status/phase

Study - Long term planning with no construction activity at this time.
