Special note to business owners:

The City of West Allis has made an exception to its temporary business sign permit standards for businesses affected by the Greenfield Avenue construction. Please see details below:

Each business will be allowed one temporary sign to inform the public that they will be open during construction. The temporary sign will not be required to have a permit or a fee. Each sign will be allowed to be 32 square feet maximum and must be on the private property (i.e. banner on the building, sandwich board sign or staked sign in the ground). The signs must be removed within a month of Greenfield Avenue being open.
