Why is this project needed?

Project was a requirement of the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the US 12 corridor to provide a connection for bicycles and pedestrians from existing US 12 (County BD), south of I-90/94, to US 12 north of I-90/94, in Lake Delton.

Project benefits

Provide cyclists and pedestrians a safe and efficient connection from existing US 12 (County BD), south of I-90/94, to US 12 north of I-90/94, in Lake Delton.

A portion of this project runs adjacent to Mirror Lake State Park, providing beautiful scenic views and potential economic benefits to nearby business owners.
