In response to a pedestrian fatality that occurred in the summer of 2011, WisDOT conducted a roadway safety audit.

The RSA identified both short term safety improvements that could be incorporated in the resurfacing project as well as more long term improvements that will be evaluated through the corridor study process.

The purpose of this study was to define the scope of the corridor study as well as develop a range of costs associated with alternatives to assist with planning for the funding of the corridor study project.
