Military Ridge bicycle/pedestrian path

• Verona Rd. (US 18/151) and Beltline interchange
  Beltline and Verona Rd. (US 18/151) interchange after stage 1 completion in 2016. Notice three major movements through the interchange – left turns from the Beltline to Verona Rd./Midvale Blvd.; left turns from Verona Rd./Midvale Blvd. to the Beltline; and through movements on Verona Rd./Midvale Blvd.
• Verona Rd. (US 18/151) and Summit Rd. intersection
  Jug-handle intersection to be constructed at Verona Rd. (US 18/151) and Summit Rd. from 2014 to 2016. This intersection allows right-ins and right-outs and reduces “conflict points” thus increasing safety at the intersection.
• Roundabout under Verona Rd. (US 18/151) for access to frontage roads
  Verona Rd. (US 18/151) passing over the roundabout south of Verona Rd. (US 18/151) and Summit Rd. jug-handle intersection. This roundabout provides access beneath Verona Rd. (US 18/151) using the frontage roads without crossing highway traffic or waiting at traffic signals.

Williamsburg Way alternatives

Note - users may need to zoom in to see details.

• Alternative 1 - Signalize existing intersection. Moderate congestion exceeded two years after construction and total congestion 12 years after construction.
• Alternative 2 - Modified half diamond interchange. Moderate congestion exceeded 20 years after construction and total congestion 45 years after construction.

Stage 3

This stage is not scheduled to occur for 20-30 years.
