Project overview

Reconstruct the Beltline, Whitney Way - Seminole Highway, and Verona Rd. (US 18/151), Raymond Rd. - Nakoma Rd.

Proposed improvements include:

• Single point interchange at Beltline and Verona Rd. (US 18/151)
• Jug-handle intersection at Verona Rd. (US 18/151) and Summit Rd.
• Ramp improvements at Whitney Way and Seminole Highway
• Improved pedestrian and bicycle accommodations
• Adding noise walls
• Expansion of the Beltline to three lanes to Whitney Way

To ease congestion and minimize delays during construction, eight intersections are scheduled to receive improvements in 2013 to accommodate traffic increases in those areas.
