Despite the impression that snow-covered ground and subzero temperatures may give, the highway construction season is just around the corner.

Stage 3 of this project will be gearing up for an early start to the season in a couple of weeks. View traffic updates.

Current (this year)

Feb./Mar., 2013 - Stage 2, construction scheduled to start
May 2013 - Stage 2, work to be suspended for summer months; all lanes to be open
Sept. 2013 - Stage 2, construction scheduled to resume
Nov. 2013 - Stage 2, scheduled to be completed

Past (anything prior to today)

2012

Nov. 9, 2012 - Stage 1 completed and construction ceased for the winter. All lanes of traffic are open
Sept. 4, 2012 - Stage 1, construction resumed
June 1, 2012 - Construction suspended for summer months and set to resume Sept. 4, 2012. All lanes are open.
May 18, 2012 - Stage 1, work suspended for summer months; all lanes open
Feb. 20, 2012 - Stage 1, construction started

2011

Aug. 5-Nov. 16, 2011 - Crossovers constructed
