  • Two separate committees will help with the alternatives analysis and identification and implementation of short-term improvements.
  • These committees have been meeting approximately once every two months since Feb. 2005.
  • Recommendations from both committees will help WisDOT make decisions on the corridor's future.

Policy advisory committee (PAC)

PAC consists of elected officials from:

  • City of Stoughton
  • Village of McFarland
  • Town of Albion
  • Town of Dunkirk
  • Town of Dunn
  • Town of Pleasant Springs
  • Town of Rutland

Technical advisory committee (TAC)

TAC consists of representatives from:

  • Madison Area Metropolitan Planning Organization
  • Department of Natural Resources
  • Federal Highway Administration
  • Dane County Highway Department
  • Dane County Planning
  • City of Stoughton
  • Village of McFarland
  • Town of Dunn
  • Town of Rutland

WisDOT welcomes project comments/suggestions. Please give us your comments/suggestions on this project, the project goals, transportation deficiencies, project purpose and need, and preliminary alternatives. Thank you for your interest and assistance with this important project.
