US 14 (Mazomanie to Middleton) Corridor Preservation Access Study - Need/purpose

Why is this project needed?

• Growing traffic and safety concerns along the corridor
• No current planned expansion study for US 14

Project benefits

• Aid the state in developing strategies to improve the existing two-lane highway, particularly at intersections, to increase safety and operations.
• Includes an access management plan to ultimately reduce and/or consolidate the number of access points along the corridor.

There is no construction project planned at this time.
