US 10 (WIS 13 to I-39) Expansion - Completed projects

Project US 10, Portage County N to Long Rd.
Dates Jul. 16, 2010 to Oct. 2011
Description Construction of new four-lane freeway. Project includes overpasses at Portage County G and Portage County O and new interchange with WIS 34 south. Other changes included some local Rd. access modifications and closures.

Project US 10, Brookside Rd. to Blenker Rd.
Dates May 23 to November 2011
Description Crews are constructing a four-lane divided highway between Marshfield and Stevens Point. This project involves the construction of a railRd. overpass and an overpass over existing US 10. Crews will also construct and prepare the new alignment of US 10 for concrete paving.

Project US 10, Blenker Rd. to Trestik Rd.
Dates May 23 to mid-November 2011
Description Crews are constructing a four-lane divided highway between Marshfield and Stevens Point. Crews will construct and prepare this section of the new alignment of US 10 for concrete paving.

Project US 10, Between Wood County BB and Stadt Rd., city of Marshfield
Dates June 2, 2010 to late November 2011
Description Crews will realign US 10 south of the existing highway. The new section of US 10 will be a four-lane, divided highway with an interchange at the intersection of new US 10 and Wood County A. Crews will also expand WIS 13 to four lanes between US 10 and 29th Street. New bridges will be constructed on Washington Ave. and Wood County A.

Project: US 10, Stadt Rd. to White Oak Rd.
Dates: April 18 to November 17, 2011
Description: Crews are expanding 3.7 miles of US 10 to a four-lane expressway. Work also includes reconstructing the intersections of Wood County T and Day Rd. with US 10, constructing several frontage Rd.s, and constructing new bridges on US 10 at Mill Creek.

Project US 10, Long Rd. to River Rd.
Dates Sept. 2007 to Aug. 2009
Description: Construction of new four-lane freeway from Long Rd. to River Rd.. Project also includes a Portage County E overpass and new interchange with WIS 34 north.

Project I-39/US 10 west interchange
Dates Aug. 2007 through Aug. 2009
Description New interchange constructed north of the Portage County X overpass to provide free-flow traffic access from I-39 to the new US 10 west bypass.

Project US 10 Wisconsin River Crossing, County E to Pinewood Dr.
Dates Sept. 2006 through Sept. 2008
Description New bridge across the Wisconsin River, north of Stevens Point.

Project Casimir Rd. interchange
Dates Jun. 2006 to Nov. 2006
Description Ramps added to the existing Casimir Rd. overpass for local access to I-39. Local access is available at the Portage County X interchange.
