Project location

US 14/61, Cut A Cross Rd. to Tristate Rd., west side of Westby, in Vernon County.

Segment 2, Westby Bypass.

Project overview

  • Design for this section of US 14/61 consists of a two-lane roadway on new alignment.
  • Roadway to begin at Cut A Cross Rd. northwest of Westby and will travel 3.4 miles southeasterly to meet up with the new four-lane highway near Tristate Rd.
  • New roadway to consist of two 12-foot driving lanes and 6-foot shoulders on each side.
  • Project cost estimated at $8 million.

Status/phase

Design work with no construction activity.
