Project location

US 14/61, Springville Rd. to County T/WIS 27/WIS 82, east side of Viroqua, in Vernon County.

Project overview

  • Design for this section of US 14/61 consists of a two-lane facility on new alignment.
  • Roadway to connect with the new four-lane highway near Springville Rd. and to extend 5.3 miles south to just past the WIS 27/WIS 82/County T intersection with existing US 14/61.
  • New roadway to consist of two 12-foot driving lanes and 6-foot shoulders on each side.
  • Project cost estimated at $8.5 million.

Status/phase

Design work with no construction activity.
