US 151 Freeway Conversion Study - Need/purpose

This study will help:

• Improve the safety of the roadway.
• Address growing traffic volumes and congestion.
• Facilitate planning for future land use and transportation needs.

The project will eventually map the corridor to preserve the roadway as a freeway. It will maintain long-term safety and operations as well as aid in land use planning and integration.
