Project overview

5.3-mile study to:

  • Evaluate need for additional lanes
  • Analyze traffic at all intersections
  • Evaluate access locations and median openings to improve highway safety and efficiency
  • Evaluate impacts of proposed improvement alternatives

Study outcomes to include:

  • Environmental Assessment (EA) document
  • Design Study report
  • Preliminary plan

This study to address long term safety and congestion needs that could not be addressed with the 2007 pavement resurfacing and maintenance project.

Study started in 2007.

Status/phase

Study with no construction activity at this time.
