Consumer laws

The federal government offers a number of resources related to consumer law in the area of transportation.

Up-to-date information about federal consumer laws, guidelines and standards, as well as the latest consumer news about automobiles, aviation, bicycles, commuting, safety, and other topics is available from the Federal Trade Commission.

The Aviation Consumer Protection division of the U.S. Department of Transportation provides a comprehensive Web site for air travel tips, airline complaints and safety and security information.

The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection is another resource for consumer protection information.
