What happened and why.

From the days when State Patrol officers would produce handwritten diagrams of crash scenes, the field of crash investigation and reconstruction has become a high-tech skill. Members of the State Patrolís Technical Reconstruction Unit (TRU) are well trained and well equipped with the latest technology to determine precisely what happened and why in serious crashes. Moreover, the TRU provides forensic mapping of crime scenes. Because of their knowledge and expertise, members of the TRU often provide expert testimony in court cases.
