Tall tower construction or alteration

  • Conditions for building tall towers (Trans 56) PDF
  • The first step you must take, as the tall tower sponsor, is to determine if an FAA case study is required.  To do this, go to the OE/AAA website, use the Notice Criteria Tool on the lower left side of the webpage to determine if you need to file a notice of proposed construction with the FAA. If the FAA requests that you file, follow the ‘Instructions on how to E-file’ link on the OE/AAA home-page, it will guide you through the filing process.

  • Questions on permits for tall towers e-mail Justin Hetland, justin.hetland@dot.wi.gov or phone (608) 267-5018
